It is an unfortunate fact that self defence in New Zealand is becoming more and more necessary.

Children suffer bullying in the school ground that is not only painful physically but can affect children for years to come - confidence is lowered, as are marks, attitude and the cycle continues. The focus for our youth is on "keeping ourselves" safe and the classes do not enforce aggressive behaviors.

The Adult class is not "fitness" driven as the art is 100% self defence. As a pure self defence program students are taught from real life situations such as grabs, chokes, bear hugs, reacting to punches etc.

There are no "forms", "kata's" or "patterns". There are no acrobatic kicks or hard blocks and all our kicks are directed to the lower part of the body. We will show you how to redirect your attackers aggression and power back towards them with little effort and minimum force.

Our goal is to raise awareness and promote education in the areas of personal safety and self defence by teaching the most practical, realistic and effective system of self defence.

Physical strength and athletic abilities are not essential.

Ideal for women, busy professionals, law enforcement, security personnel or anyone who finds a traditional martial art intimidating or time consuming.
